Privacy Policy

Esas is a personal productivity app. This policy explains what information the app handles, where that information is stored, and what choices you have. The short version: your core Esas data is kept on your device, not on servers we operate.

1. Information Kept on Your Device

The main information you create in Esas is stored locally in an encrypted database on your device. This may include:

• Tasks, routines, and tags
• Progress details such as levels and streaks
• Schedule settings, including wake time and notification choices
• Journal entries you add in the app

This information stays on your device unless you choose to use a feature that clearly requires sending data outside the device.

2. Optional Account Sign-In

You can use Esas without creating an account. If you decide to sign in with Apple, Google, or email, authentication is handled by Clerk. Depending on the sign-in method you choose, Clerk may receive:

• Your email address
• Your name, if you allow it to be shared
• An authentication token from Apple or Google

This information is used to let you sign in and manage your account session. We do not use it for ads, marketing profiles, or behavioral targeting. You can sign out at any time, which removes the account connection from the app on your device.

3. Notifications

Esas may ask permission to send local notifications, such as reminders or check-ins. If you allow them, those notifications are scheduled on your device. They do not require a push notification server or external notification service.

4. Information We Do Not Collect

Esas does not collect, send, or sell:

• Analytics events or usage metrics
• Location data
• Your contacts, calendar, or browsing history
• Tracking or advertising identifiers
• Crash reports

The app does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking pixels.

5. Audio Permissions

Esas may request microphone access for audio-related features. When used, audio is processed on your device and is not uploaded to a server by Esas.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Because core app data is stored locally, you control it through your device. Deleting Esas removes the local app data from that device. If you have signed in and want your authentication record deleted, contact us and we will help process the request.

7. Children's Privacy

Esas is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Esas changes. If we make a material change, we will provide notice in the app, on the website, or through another reasonable method.
